Attorney-at-law (radca prawny) in the Capital Markets Team. She specialises in the law of capital market, with special regard to the law of investment funds. She provides a comprehensive legal assistance to investment fund management companies and asset managers, both with respect to regulatory issues, on-going activities of investment funds and transactional aspects. In the years 2014 – 2020 she took part, as an in-house lawyer, in the establishment and comprehensive organisation of the activities of two investment fund management companies, and was also involved in works connected with the establishment and registration of a dozen or so investment funds. She represents clients in proceedings and contacts with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and other state authorities, including also during control procedures. Ms Łagocka has been associated with DJM since 2020. She started her professional career in 2005 in PwC, and then over more then 6 years she was associated with Clifford Chance, specialising in real estate and M&A transactions, and also in advice to power companies. She was involved in several dozens of transactions covering purchase or real estate and SPVs, projects connected with lease of commercial space and legal due diligence of companies and real estate. She is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law (Okręgowa Izba Radców Prawnych w Warszawie). She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University and Executive MBA studies organised by the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. She is fluent in English.
