Partner of DJM. Attorney-at-law (adwokat) in the Capital Markets Team. He specialises in the law of capital market, with special regard to the law of investment funds. He has many years of experience in providing legal assistance to investment fund management companies, investment companies, banks and pension fund management companies. He is associated with DJM since 2007. Mr Lidke was involved in works connected with the establishment and registration of a dozen or so investment fund management companies and several dozens of investment funds, as well as in numerous proceedings for the extension of activities conducted by investment fund management companies and investment companies. He represented his clients many times in proceedings connected with an intention to acquire or take up shares in investment fund management companies and banks. He takes part in the provision of ongoing services to entities from the financial market. Apart from regulatory issues, he advices his clients also on personal data protection, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism. He supports clients in contacts with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and other state authorities, including also during control procedures. He held a function of a supervision inspector in an investment fund management company and a brokerage house. Mr Lidke is a co-author of the third edition of the international series “Investment Funds” published by Sweet & Maxwell, the leading UK publisher specialising in professional legal publications, owned by Thomson Reuters Group, one of the largest global multimedia information agencies, as well as a co-author of the international publishing series International Comparative Guide to: Alternative Investment Funds 2018, published by Global Legal Group. Mr Lidke is a member of the Warsaw Bar Council (Okręgowa Rada Adwokacka w Warszawie). He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Leon Koźmiński University in Warsaw. He is fluent in English.
