In DJM he focuses on representing clients in litigations in court, providing services to commercial law companies, especially in the area of contracts and commercial transactions. He also advises to domestic and international entities with respect to bankruptcy and restructuring projects.

Among many commercial transactions, and bankruptcy and restructuring projects in which he was involved, we may list especially the following ones:

• the acquisition of companies from a capital group operating in the food sector by another mogul in that sector;
• legal advice at the acquisition by an investment fund of a controlling stake in a company from the electronic payments sector;
• legal advice at the investment by an investment fund in a company operating an Internet store;
• legal advice at the investment by an investment fund in a company listed on the stock exchange;
• advice to investment funds with respect to a transaction involving the acquisition of health resorts from the State Treasury and related corporate services;
• legal advice at the acquisition of a controlling stake in an insurance intermediary;
• legal advice at the transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of a majority stake in a company from the babycare sector;
• advice to bondholders, holding claims in excess of PLN 1 billion, in connection with the arrangement bankruptcy of their debtor and related negotiations on the restructuring of financial debt;
• advice to a joint-stock company from the collection sector subject to the restructuring procedure.

Mr Orłowski is and was a member of governing bodies of many capital companies. He was also successful in the liquidation of many commercial law companies, many times holding a function of their liquidator. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Apart from Polish, he has also a command of English.
